Thomas Bubba Trammell (born November 6, 1971 in Knoxville, Tennessee) was a Major League Baseball outfielder and designated hitter. He is an alumnus of the University of Tennessee.
Drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 11th round of the 1994 MLB amateur draft, Trammell would make his major league Baseball debut with the Tigers on April 1, 1997. He appeared in his final game with the New York Yankees during the 2003 season, but did not finish the season due to bouts of clinical depression.[1]
On January 2, 2006, he signed a deal with the Baltimore Orioles. In July of 2007, Bubba retired from baseball while on a rehab assignment with the Aberdeen IronBirds, where he was batting .143 after nine games.[2]
